First post of a comprehensive series of exercises based on the sample database AdventureWorks Hi there!

Welcome on board, you’re the candidate we have chosen to cover the junior DBA opening. Does it sound any good? Perfect, it doesn’t really matter whether you have some knowledge on relational databases because here I’ll try to cover most of the basics for you to get some practice and some understanding about how to query your database and a bit of what’s going on under the hood.
 

There are 2 different sections, the first will be where I ask you as my junior DBA to perform tasks related and the second one where I gave you how I’d work out a solution along with the explanation why I chose one solution.
 

I’ll keep this post updated when new days come along, so have a look from time to time.
